Uncovering the Layers – Action Research

Three days (Over three terms – 1 day per term)

‘No research without action, no action without research.’ Kurt Lewin

A proven method for sustained and incremental improvement is to undertake your own action research project in school.  But scoping, planning and deciding on the best research methods to use can be a daunting task.

Why not ask us to facilitate this work by using proven ways of working based on internationally recognised mulit-method approaches?

From formulating your research question, to choosing the method of research to gathering and critiquing the evidence and structuring your report, we are there every step of the way to guide, challenge and mentor you as the lead researcher.

In preparing for Curriculum for Wales, 2022, now is an ideal time to develop an in-school research project to inform the pedagogy of the new curriculum.

Course participants will:

  • Identify an area of research that is pertinent to their own and/or the school’s development.
