Developing Quality Practice

Working alongside your team as a facilitator, critical friend and professional guide, we take an agreed aspect of your School Improvement Plan and work with you through the year to secure measurable improvements.  Recent examples have included Foundation Phase Practice and Provision, Observation and Assessment, Sustainability for Global Learning Goals, Outdoor Learning, Developing the School Offer for Reading, Well-being and Transition.

Contact us with your area of focus and let us continue the discussion and lead the professional learning in partnership with you.

Action Research

A proven method for sustained and incremental improvement is to undertake your own action research project in school.  But scoping, planning and deciding on the best research methods to use can be a daunting task.

Why not ask us to facilitate this work by using proven ways of working based on internationally recongnised mulit-method approaches? From formulating your research question, to choosing the method of research to gathering and critiquing the evidence and structuring your report, we are there every step of the way to guide, challenge and mentor you as the lead researcher.

Contact us for an initial discussion and to explore your research ideas and the exciting next steps.

Review and Report

So, what’s really happening in your school with regards to x, y, or z?  Kick start a new development or shore up existing practice by engaging the service of an objective and critical friend.  Through a Review, The Learning Partnership will work with you to build upon existing practice and uncover some next steps for improvement.  Choose an aspect that you would like us to focus on and we will undertake a full Review, supported by a written report outlining some advisory next steps for your provision and practice.

Contact us for an initial discussion with regards to areas you’d like to explore, expand and develop.

Coaching and Mentoring

New to headship, to middle management or to teaching? Having an external, independent pair of eyes and ears to support and nurture you in your new role can be the key to clear decision making and the implementation of your big (or small) plan.  As a coach or mentor, we utilise many strategies to provide you with the emotional space so that your clarity of thought leads to effective action.

For a confidential discussion to outline your ideas and needs, please contact us to arrange an initial meeting.

Professional Dialogue Visits

Looking for ‘excellence’ to set the benchmark for members of your team?  Trying to explain ‘what a good one looks like’?  Often the best way forward in situations like this is to see it happening in action.  We arrange a variety of accompanied Professional Dialogue Visits throughout the year where practice at all levels is showcased, dissected and discussed.

If you are interested in joining us, in the UK or abroad,  please contact us for details of up and coming visits.
